Mr Vincent Leow is an artist and an art educator whose practice spans a wide range of genres from sculpture, installation, performance art to painting and mixed-media.
Mr Leow taught art at LASALLE (2003 - 2007) and the Sharjah University, College of Fine Arts and Design in the United Arab Emirates (2008 - 2013). His works have been collected and commissioned by various institutions such as museums, corporate companies and private collections, both locally and internationally. He has also exhibited internationally and regionally.
Mr Leow was awarded the Culture Award (2002) by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry for his contribution to the arts. He also represented Singapore in the 52nd Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art (2007), the 9th Indian Triennial of Contemporary Art, New Delhi, India (1997), and the 1st Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, Brisbane, Australia (1993).
Mr Leow studied and graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art (Sculpture) from the LASALLE College of Arts in 1987. He obtained his Master of Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1991 and a Doctorate of Fine Art from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology In Melbourne (RMIT) in 2005.
