“We constantly dwell on the past or worry about the future. When we are guided through life solely by our preconceptions and presumptions, we deny ourselves the joy of discovering.” – Mr. Lester Lee
Mr. Lester Lee hopes to encourage his audience to explore and to enjoy the beauty of the present through his second solo exhibition titled ‘Now’.
The series of paintings on canvas are rendered in charcoal, acrylic and spray paint. They are inspired by Mr. Lee’s impressions and reflections of everyday happenings around him. The paintings reflect his belief that one should live in the present and not allow past experiences or worries for the future to cloud one’s thoughts.
Now is Mr. Lee’s most recent series of work and it is being exhibited for the first time.
His first solo exhibition titled An Installation was held in 2000 in Seattle, Washington in the United States.
