The ocean is the centre of biodiversity on the planet. Exploitation of Fish conveys the message that we must protect it from human greed or risk inheriting a black, fragmented space where the ocean as we now know it has receded into a mere memory.

Artist’s Bio

Mr Prasetyo has participated in more than 200 exhibitions in various Asian cities, including The Beppu Asia Biennale of Contemporary Art 2007 in Japan and the ‘Indonesian and Mainstream’ exhibition at CIGE, Beijing. He was also a finalist at the Philip Morris Indonesian Art Awards 1997.
