There are many places and objects of worship for Buddhists. Worshipping the Sarira expresses the artist’s belief in treasuring the sarira – the relics believed to be the actual remains of the Buddha – as the most important form of worship.

Artist’s Bio
Mr Pirussaw is an independent artist who specialises in drawing. He was awarded the first prize in the Painting Contest for Embroidery Print (traditional category) from The Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques. He was also selected to participate in the royal painting of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej in Uttaradit, Thailand.
